A Belated Birthday Entry

This entry is almost two months late. What am i doing these days?? Hee...
The girls gathered to celebrate Dan's birthday. We had dinner at Aston Specialties, the one which is located at The Cathay. Whenever we passed by the one at Katong, the queue is always very long even during weekdays. People said the steak is nice and the price is reasonable. How can we not try it?
That day was a Wednesday and we queue for almost an hour. The way they served is like how Kenny Rogers served - select one main course and two side dishes (hot or cold). I remember each of us only paid around $12. The steak wasn't really good, slightly hard but probably I ordered medium cooked. Other main courses (chicken/fish) taste much nicer.
What did we get for this birthday girl? She received her favourite rose wine, a cardholder, a book and face lotion. She also got P.Osh brownies as her "birthday cake" without candles cos we always forget to bring lighter. All of us got a bit of every flavour and all agreed that the mint one is the best. The mint topping blended nicely with the chocolate and not as sweet as the rest.
A year came and gone again... time passed too fast for me to catch.
