Toe treatment

Remember I said my last toe was injured during cycling... to my surprise, it was rather serious. The report said "There is an oblique fracture along the shaft of the proximal phalanx of the 5th toe with minimal deformity". I should have go for an x-ray earlier but cos there was no pain... I kinda of like take it for granted.
The swelling was there, till now it is still swollen. I went to see specialist last Thursday and he almost scared me. The first statement he made was "to operate or not to operate". I was like... "HUH!!! That serious?!" Then, I realised he just wanted to give me a choice and I made the correct choice - Not To Operate. Haha! So lame! To do or not to do, it still needs to take about six weeks to recover. Bone will grow and soon it sure will be healed, just a matter of time and don't injured it further.
The doctor is funny... he said toes are very "stupid" and we always got our toes injured, they rather useless at times. Haha! But if it is your little finger, operation will be needed cos the strength is from that finger. :) So be careful!

I will be seeing him in 2 months time and do another x-ray to ensure that it's healing. We shall see then.
