Ah Dan (with a worried face): Fun?! Don’t know when the rain will stop.
The rain is getting heavier and heavier.
See! We got ourselves really wet!
One Tuesday, Dan asked me to go night cycling. I have never tried this before so WHY NOT! Haha! After my dinner at home, I made my way to meet her at her place and she was still making her egg tarts. And it's nice!!
She got her own bike and I borrowed her dad’s. When we were all ready to go, Dan couldn’t find the keys to unlock her dad’s bike. We tried looking around… and she started to get frustrated plus her dad switched off his phone. It was quite disappointing and I thought I will miss the chance of cycling that night. FINALLY, Dan found it… Thanks, God! Dan adjusted the seat lower for me… once all is done, here we go lor!!! Haha!
Our destination is to cycle from Kallang to Singapore Flyer. The journey was smooth and steady, no obstacle. Haha! But due to construction projects, some routes to the Singapore Flyer are closed. In the end, we decided to take a we-tot-dark-route.
The sky was getting redder, it's like going to rain… the moment I said out, raindrops fell. Oops! We quickly reversed and took shelter under the bridge with two China men and a couple. I was so happy but Dan was so worried. True enough, the rain didn’t stop… only got smaller. We tried to cycle again and headed for the next shelter when the rain got heavier. Then I started to worry and Dan began to pray. Haha! The rain never really stop, still drizzling... and we "turbo" back home. We were really "狼狈" but I did enjoyed the fun. :) I hope more to come when I got my own bike one day.
