Night Safari ~ 22 Feb 08

My Friday night @ Night Safari with Kenneth, Dan, Joline, Clara, Jun and Eric. Eric managed to purchase the tickets from his company at a discounted price of $11... 50 % cheaper. We met at Ang Mo Kio hub for dinner and cos Eric's car couldn't squeeze seven people so all decided to take bus. It had been a long time since all of us took bus together. I think the bus journey was more fun. Haha!
We took a couple of photos at the entrance of the safari. The moment we entered, we went for the "Creatures of the Night Show", starting at 9.30. The show was not bad with a very entertaining host. Unfortunately we were not allowed to take photos with flash. The light may be harmful to the animals' sight. However, I did enjoyed the show.
After the show, we travelled along the trail to search for the rest of the animals. Tram ticket rates are too expensive ~ $10 per pax. So poor Clara, who was in her formal, got to walk with her heels. It was suffering!! Because of astigmatism and the place was quite dark, Dan and I couldn't see properly which was quite frustrating. Basically we did not take much photos. The weather was good after the rain, at least it wasn't very hot. But the ground was damp and quite slippery. By the time we reached the entrance, it closed to 12am. We did not complete all the trails but most of us were already exhausted and sweaty. We grabbed a cab and Home Sweet Home. Yeah!!
